Brake fluid has a quiet enemy: water. The fluid absorbs moisture from the air year after year, and wet fluid boils under hard braking, corrodes ABS components, and makes the pedal feel soft. Most drivers never think about it until the pedal does something frightening. A brake fluid flush at Trusted Auto Care is quick, inexpensive insurance for the system that stops the car.

New fluid is pale gold; old fluid turns dark brown or black as it loads with moisture and debris. If yours looks like coffee, it stopped protecting a while ago.
Fading brakes on the drive down from the hills, or needing more pedal than you used to, can be fluid that boils and compresses instead of pushing the pads.
Corrosion from wet fluid attacks ABS modulators and valves — parts that cost many times what a flush does. The warning light is the cheap version of the lesson.
"Great service! I brought my Porsche in for a brake replacement and oil change, and I'm very happy with the experience. The service was professional, fast, and friendly. Everything was explained clearly, and they took great care of my car. Highly recommended!"

About every 2 years or 30,000 miles for most cars — sooner if testing shows high moisture. It is one of the most skipped services and one of the cheapest.
Topping off does not remove the moisture already absorbed throughout the system. Only a flush replaces the fluid at all four calipers, where the damage happens.
It lowers the boiling point — under repeated hard braking the fluid can boil and the pedal sinks. It also corrodes steel lines and ABS parts from the inside, invisibly.
Bleeding removes air at one corner; a flush replaces all the old fluid in the whole system. If air is the only problem, bleeding is enough — testing tells us which you need.
