Tire Service in Van Nuys

Your tires are the only part of the car that actually touches the road — and in the Valley, heat, potholes, and freeway miles wear them faster than most drivers expect. At Trusted Auto Care we rotate, balance, repair, and replace tires, and service the TPMS, so you get even wear, better mileage, and a car that grips the road the way it should.

Signs You Need Tire Service

Uneven or Fast Wear

Wear on one edge, in the center, or cupping across the tread means alignment, balance, or pressure problems. Catching it early can double the life of a set of tires.

Vibration at Speed

A shake that starts around 55–65 mph on the 405 usually means a wheel is out of balance or a tire is damaged inside. It will not balance itself out — it gets worse.

Low Pressure & TPMS Light

A tire pressure light that keeps coming back means a slow leak — a nail, a valve stem, or a corroded rim. Driving soft overheats the tire and risks a blowout.

Cracks, Bulges & Age

Sidewall cracks and bulges are failures waiting for a hot freeway. Tires also age out — rubber hardens after about six years even with tread left.

What We Do

From a Real Customer

★★★★★

"Really happy with the service here. I brought my BMW in and everything was super easy from start to finish. The guys were friendly, explained everything clearly, and took good care of my car. The service was fast, honest, and professional. I felt comfortable leaving my BMW with them, and I'll definitely come back again when I need anything. Highly recommend!"

Tire Service FAQ

How often should tires be rotated?

Every 5,000–7,500 miles — for most drivers that lines up with an oil change, and we can do both in one visit. Regular rotation is the cheapest way to get the full life out of a set.

Can a flat tire always be repaired?

No. Punctures in the tread area usually can; damage to the sidewall or shoulder cannot be repaired safely. We inspect the tire from the inside and show you what we find before recommending anything.

Why does my TPMS light keep coming on?

A sensor battery dies after roughly 5–10 years, or the tire is genuinely losing air slowly. We test each sensor and check for leaks, so the light gets fixed — not just reset.

How long do tires last in Los Angeles?

Typically 40,000–60,000 miles depending on the tire, but Valley heat ages rubber faster. Even low-mileage tires should be replaced around six years because the rubber hardens and loses grip.
